The Utility of Knerr Repertory in Cases of Upper Respiratory Tract Infection

Abstract

Background: In today's era the cases of Upper Respiratory Tract Infection are increasing all over the world. The present study shows the efficacy of Knerr Repertory in cases of upper respiratory tract infection in 50 cases. Objective: To ascertain the role of Knerr Repertory in management of Upper respiratory tract infections. Material and Methods: Purposive Sampling for research purpose has been done. Selection of the medicine is according to totality of symptoms. Selection of the potency and repetition was based on laws of Homeopathic Posology which is described in Organon of medicine. Cases were followed for 6 months. Result: In study mostly children are more affected and acute cases are more present. Potency was selected according to rules given in homoeopathic materia medica.
