An unusual case of lipomeningocoele with pseudo tail as cutaneous marker

Abstract

Tail-like caudal appendages are rare and have been reported to be associated with spinal dysraphism, especially with spinal lipomas or lipomyelomeningoceles. We present the case of an 11 year-old girl with human tail and lipomeningocoele.
