Eyelid Cysticercosis - A Rare Case

Abstract

Reports of orbital cysticercosis are uncommon despite high incidence of brain and ocular involvement. There are 24 cases of eyelid cysticercosis on record.1 Here we report a case of eyelid cysticercosis in a 27 years old Hindhu vegetarian female due to its rarity. The lesion was excised and the diagnosis of cysticercosis was given after histopathologic examination.
